Welcome to Montana Adventure Sports

At Montana Adventure Sports, we specialize in providing the finest equipment for people powered adventure.  Bicycles are our first love, and it's not just about sales! We ride them, repair them, and we worship them.  Giant and Felt - our principal lines - are both renowned for cutting edge technology, flawless quality and exceptional value. We round out their offerings with smaller boutique lines including All City, Co-Motion, Parlee, Surly and Volagi, and we carry an extensive line of helmets, clothing, tools and accessories to insure you have everything you need for the perfect ride.  We've got you covered, from your child's first bike to the latest carbon fiber race rocket, gonzo mountain bike or E-bike, whether you're riding around the neighborhood or around the world.  A full-service repair shop, professional fitting services and vintage restorations take care of your every need after the sale, and we've got great suggestions on where to ride, both on and off road. Are watersports more your thing?  Check out Stand Up Paddleboards from Boga and Corban, complimented with paddles by Werner - we'll get you out on the water for fitness and fun.

Our retail showroom, located on Electric Avenue in picturesque Bigfork, Montana - is just 45 minutes from Glacier National Park, and a stone's throw from Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River.  Bigfork is known for art galleries, fine dining and live theater; add in the breathtaking natural landscape and you'll understand why this truly is the Last Best Place.  Stop in and visit, step up to the Kickstand Espresso Bar and we'll pull you a double shot or whip up a latte while you check things out.  We look forward to meeting you!

Today's Tip

Don't Let A Broken Bike Part Ruin Your Trip - When traveling with your bike, it's a good idea to always pack a few repair parts in your bike case. That way, if something breaks, you'll be prepared and you won't have to scramble to find a bike shop or run the risk of not finding what you need. Here's what we take along: A spare seat-binder bolt. It's an item that can easily break when you're re-installing your seatpost and adjusting your seat. If your bike has a replaceable rear derailleur hanger, a spare can be a trip-saver should you fall and damage yours (or if the frame gets damaged in transit by the airline). If you have a road bike that has 650c tires, carry two spare tubes and a spare tire because, though this size is becoming more common, it still can be tough to find. Always carry a chain tool and spare chain pins (if your chain requires them) to deal with chain problems. Other handy small parts are replacement stem bolts, clipless pedal tension-adjustment screws, spokes (these must match what's in your wheels), and brake and gear cables.
